In Korea the moon determines when the new year begins. This new years falls on the 1st of February and is celebrated until the 2nd. Seollal is one of the most important celebrations in Korea. The new year is in the sign of the water tiger, the third sign of the astrologic cycle in Korea. The tiger stands for developing spontaneous strength and unrelenting innovation, which has to beware of becoming recklessness though.

We wish you an active and stimulating year of the water tiger.
